Over 20 years ago, with a degree from Smith College, an Ivy League women's college, her career began. Working in marketing and sales, she exceeded expectations time and again. She worked with clients such as Nike, Intel, CentralPoint Software, VTech,
and Northwest Medical Teams.

After completing a master's in geography, she worked as a Planner and Cartographer on development projects along the light rail in Portland, Oregon.
She then moved to the Puget Sound to work for Microsoft in the 1990's. After years as a Project Manager and Business Manager there, it was time for another change.

A continued passion for land use and investing in real estate made the choice easy.
